The satellite and ground support equipment installation activities continued to prepare the satellite for testing:
It was also time to install the Sentinel-3 roll-up banner in the viewing room:
The satellite was then oriented in vertical position, lifted by a crane and weighed. Finally it was placed on the Vertical Installation Stand:
On Friday 17th of July afternoon, the satellite has been successfully switched on for the first time since it arrived in Kourou!
In the meantime a matoutou visited us in the parking!
